The air is crisp, pumpkin spice is everywhere, and as the leaves fall, so are my f’cks to give. That's right—I've officially entered my I don’t give a f’ck era, and let me tell you, it's a whole vibe.
What Does the “IDGAF Era” Mean?
For me, it’s more than just a catchy phrase. It’s about stepping into a new chapter of life where I’m unapologetically prioritizing my peace, happiness, and well-being. The "IDGAF" era means:
Releasing the Need for Validation: No more stressing over what others think or bending myself into a pretzel to meet someone else’s expectations. My worth isn’t determined by outside approval—and neither is yours.
Setting Boundaries Without Apology: This is a big one. I've stopped feeling guilty for saying no or carving out space for myself. Boundaries are a form of self-love; in this era, they’re non-negotiable.
Embracing Imperfections: Perfection? Overrated. I’m here to embrace the messy, imperfect, beautifully authentic me. And if that ruffles a few feathers? Oh well!
Why the "IDGAF Era" Now?
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how much energy we waste on things that don’t matter—people’s opinions, outdated expectations, and unnecessary obligations. Hitting 40+ has been a wake-up call that life is too short to live it on someone else’s terms.
October is the perfect time to reflect on the shed-your-skin kind of transformation. As nature lets go of its leaves, it reminds us to let go of the things that no longer serve us. We don’t need the clutter, the drama, or the weight of other people’s judgment.
How You Can Step Into Your "IDGAF Era"
1. Identify What’s Draining You: What’s weighing you down? It's time to let go, whether it’s toxic relationships, negative self-talk, or unrealistic expectations. Write it down and start releasing it.
2. Set Clear Boundaries: Learn to say no without feeling guilty. Protect your time, energy, or mental space fiercely.
3. Celebrate Yourself Daily: You don’t need a reason to celebrate who you are. When you're living authentically, every day is a win.
4. Let Go of Perfection: Perfect doesn’t exist, so stop chasing it. The real glow-up happens when you embrace your flaws and imperfections as part of what makes you, you.

I’ve just uploaded a new video on my YouTube channel where I dive into my IDGAF Era.
